The 1964 World’s Fair was hosted in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park and was themed
“Peace Through Understanding.” Millions of visitors attended the fair to explore the
countries that were represented from around the world.
Schneps Media has reimagined this iconic fair by hosting “The World’s Fare” at Citi Field.
The event is expected to draw 10,000 people who can celebrate the diversity of New York
City by experiencing the most broad selection of international cuisine, beer, music, dance
and activities.
The second annual World’s Fare has a fantastic team of the City’s leading culinary voices
that have curated the diverse food offerings. In addition, culinary co-chairs include
Citymeals on Wheels co-founder Gael Greene; Chef Alex Raij, Founder, Chef & Owner
Txikito, El quinto pino, La Vara, Saint Julivert Fisherie; Cookbook Author: The Basque Book
and Chef Anita Lo, Author of SOLO: A Modern Cookbook for a Party of One.
The World’s Fare will be hosted Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 in the parking lot of
iconic Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. The ballpark is centrally located in New York
City, near the 7 line and the Long Island Rail Road’s Mets-Willets Point station and a short
distance from Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

The World’s Fare is 11am – 8pm on both days. Tickets are being sold for entry for access to
vendors and activities as well as 3 hours of unlimited beer tastings in the International
