Plans to bring a new residential development to a Bayonne intersection could possibly be approved this week.
A firm called 425-429 Avenue C Bayonne Realty Urban Renewal, LLC is proposing a five-story building for 425-427 and 427A-429 Avenue C, at the corner of West 18th Street in the Hudson County city. A legal notice issued late last month shows that the project calls for 19 residential units in a building that would be nearly 62 feet high. 19 parking spaces would be provided on the premises, some of which are described as “mechanical ‘stacked’ parking spaces.”
The property is located one block west of the Broadway business district and is served by the 81 and 120 New Jersey Transit buses to Lower Manhattan and Jersey City. A similarly named LLC was expected to have been designated as the redeveloper of the properties back in May, according to city records.
The Bayonne Planning Board is slated to hear the developer’s application during its meeting today, Tuesday, November 13, at 6:00 p.m. 425-429 Avenue C Bayonne Realty Urban Renewal, LLC is looking to obtain Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan approval.
Note to readers: The dates that applications are scheduled to be heard by the Bayonne Planning Board and other commissions are subject to change.
