The Bridge Arts Festival comes to Bayonne on Saturday, September 9th for a day of culture, music, dance, and arts at the Dennis P. Collins Park in the shadows of the Bayonne Bridge. The festival features dance and concert performances scheduled on two stages all day, along with a market populated by local artists, a food truck row, and a free crafts corner for the kids.

On the musical stage, you can catch sets from surf rockers Beninghove’s Hangman, Latin jazz outfit Son 3 y Mas featuring Ralph Irizarry, and the soulful V Music featuring Dave Watson. Meanwhile, the dance stage will host choreographer Diana Castore and the Dance With Me Dance Studio, the Jersey City Ballroom Dancers, and the Surati Dance Company.

“Bayonne brings together people of many different nations from all over the world. Through the performing arts, we can learn to appreciate the special gifts that each culture brings to our city, state, and nation,” said Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis.

“We purposely selected the Dennis P. Collins Park located by the Bayonne Bridge as our festival location – to let people know that Bayonne is more than just a bridge,” added festival Co-Founder Cheryl Mack.

The Bridge Arts Festival starts at 11 a.m. on September 9th. For details and updates, visit their site here.
