Building details
99 Hudson is a 79-story condominium tower located at 99 Hudson Street in the Downtown/Waterfront neighborhood of Jersey City. Standing approximately 889 feet tall, it is the tallest residential building in New Jersey and ranks among the tallest residential towers in the United States. The building was developed by China Overseas America Inc. (COA) and designed by architecture firm Perkins Eastman. Construction broke ground in January 2016 and the tower was completed in 2019, with the first residential closings occurring in late 2020. The building contains 781 condominium units spanning studios through three-bedroom homes, plus a limited number of top-floor penthouses. Its exterior features a limestone and glass facade. Situated directly on the Hudson River waterfront, 99 Hudson sits steps from the Exchange Place PATH station — offering a roughly four-minute train ride to lower Manhattan — as well as ferry service and the 19-mile Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. The building also includes approximately 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 609 resident parking spaces.
