A new concept rendering has been revealed for the former Powerhouse Lounge space on Marin Blvd. According to the rendering, the new establishment will be called “Hudson Hall” and will be a “neighborhood smoke house & beer place”.
As we reported previously, the outpost comes from the same folks behind the Pilsener Haus & Biergarten in Hoboken as well as the recently opened Würst Bar on Jersey Avenue. The proprietors also have another beer hall in Asbury Park called, Asbury Festhalle.
No timeline has been released but based the amount of work being done to the space, it’s likely quite a ways off. The building was essentially gutted down to its shell and will be adapted to fit the new concept.
Considering the rave reviews Pilsener Haus garners, it’s great to see an establishment of this quality come to the neighborhood.
